Winter Floating Market Fresh Sheet – Nov 11th

It’s time once again for another floating market at Lake Union Park! This time, it is aboard an historic steamship. The Virginia V was originally built to transport farm produce from Vashon Island to the docks in Seattle and Tacoma. She is the last remaining steamship from the famed “Mosquito Fleet” that transversed Puget Sound in the early 1900’s. Perhaps for the first time in three-quarters of a century, her decks will be stacked with fresh produce, seafood and fine locally made goods.

This Thursday’s Market will include:

An assortment of organic winter greens, squash and root veggies from Full Circle Farms.

Troll-Caught Washington salmon from Cape Cleare
