Get Your Feet Wet!
June 8th Lake Union Park Floating Market

Come on down to the Lake Union Floating Market aboard the historic Steamship Virginia V and sample some amazing gourmet olive oil from 11 Olives. They are a new local company making tasty infused oils and balsamics.

The weather should be good so plan to stay on board and have lunch – Nollies is offering great ready to eat lunch items made from local ingredients.

Of course we have veggies–salad greens, onions, bok choy, collard, cucumbers, tasty rainbow carrots, tomatoes, and colorful purple peppers grown by Marshland Orchards in Maultby, WA.

Grab a loaf of famous Alaskan Sourdough – made from the same yeast starter that local pioneers feasted on. Nothing would be more perfect than to grab some sourdough and bottle of garlic infused olive oil and take a scenic ride on the Fremont Avenue tour boat departing from the FarmBoat market each hour. Experience what it would have been like (at least for a moment) to depart from a Seattle pier on a Mosquito-fleet steamer a century ago. — Don’t worry, you will be back for that important meeting.

Chocolate Lovers – Trevani Truffles will be there with absolutely amazing chocolate treats. Cedar Wave will be featuring her chocolates aboard their private chocolate tasting cruises this summer. Classic yachts and chocolate – mmmmm.

Meet Steve from Canyon Ridge Farm who will be offering assorted flowers, produce and honey from his farm.

The FarmBoat Floating Market is a great weekly experience we hope you will enjoy as we build up this authentic lakeside venue. Please tell your friends and coworkers about it! The more visitors we have, the more product and activities we can bring!

11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Lake Union Park Wharf – 860 Terry Avenue
